In contrast to a standard single walk-on glass panel, this rooflight configuration includes additional insulating glass which is an integral part of the unit. This secondary pane is essential for thermal regulation.

• Enhanced Thermal Insulation: The unit features a soft coat low-emissivity (low-e) coating applied to the inner surface of the additional insulating pane. This coating reflects heat back into the room during colder months, significantly improving the panel's overall thermal performance.

• Argon Gas Filling: The space between the laminated structural glass (the walking surface) and the secondary insulating pane is filled with Argon gas.
